Paradigma lets the user specify up to 100 "find/replace" rules to be
used in parallell. A rule consists of a "find" string and a "replace"
string, both may be up to 10 characters long. Due to speed
maximization, each "new" character in a "find" rule uses appr. 1.5 k
of memory. (Must be a smarter way to do this?) If your Paradigm is too
big, try splitting it up and run successively on the file. Paradigms
are stored as resources in the application file, taking up 7.8k of
disk space each. Any ascii code may be included in a "find/replace"
rule, by entering the ascii number in brackets. Ex: linefeed = [10].
Returns and tabs are also available by pressing their keys, and
represented by "\r" and "\t". Backslash itself looks like "\=". Be
sure you have free disk space equal the size of the file to be
converted, as the program does not check for this.
