One Trick Pony is a quick and dirty, small and free folder monitor
application. It monitors a folder of your choice, and when an item is
added or removed (your choice), it sends you an email notification.
Most people probably won't have a use for this application. I made it
long before I released it (back in May 2001) as a freebie for someone
who runs a print shop. It was just laying around collecting dust, and
I needed to fill out the Products page, so here it is. Don't expect
any new features, as this is a very low priority app for me.
### How do I use One Trick Pony?
Launch the application. Press the settings button. Choose a Hot Folder
to monitor under the "Hot Folder" icon.
Press the "Sending Mail" icon. This is where you put in the name,
email address and SMTP (such as smtp.mac.com) server of the account
you want to use to send emails from.
Press the "Getting Mail" icon. This is where you enter the email
address of the person whom you wish to have receive notification of
folder activity.
Press the "Customize" icon. Here is where you can customize emails
with your own subject line and message body.
That's it!
