MPlayer OS X is a port based on the MPlayer movie player for Linux. It
is a multimedia player with playlist, supporting playback of all
widely used media types (MPEG 1-4, DivX, AVI, ASF, Ogg Vorbis,
RealMedia, QuickTime Movie, MPEG layer 1-3, AC3, WindowsMediaAudio
etc.) and movie subtitles of various formats (MicroDVD Player, Subrip,
etc.).

Compatibility
Architecture: PPC

MPlayer OS X v1.1 will be more suited for playback on lower-end G3 &
G4 Macintosh.

MPlayer OS X 2.0 Beta 4 requires 10.2 and recommends a G4 Macintosh
because of AltiVec support.

MPlayer OS X v2.0 requires Mac OS 10.3.x or higher, more suited to
playback on G4 Macintosh because of AltiVec support.
