MORE was marketed as: "The World's First Idea Processor." It allows
the user to diagram outlines for oral presentations. The software
could be used to create a Header, and under that (depending how deep
you wanted to list ideas under the header) one could nest subtopics.
These subtopics would appear under their specific subheaders as the
subheader topic, heading, with a + sign to the left of that topic; and
by clicking on the plus symbol the headings subsumed under that header
would expand. For example:

Header: +Macintosh Computers

+Computer construction

-Mainboard

-Power Supply

+Software

-Software Titles

-Software coding

+Coding Restrictions

-Uniformity of Menus

As you can see, by nesting the ideas, you can organize your thoughts
and ideas by prioritizing them; you can then have a visual
representation of the importance of your thoughts and ideas. During my
time as a student in college I often used the software to prepare oral
reports for class, and found it most helpful for keeping to my
'talking points.'

It is possible to expand a line item by selecting it with the mouse
(or the arrow keys on your keyboard) then selecting View -> Expand
Subheads, or pressing `Cmd-,` ("comma") on your keyboard. If there is
nothing to expand, the option will be greyed out. When selecting a
particular header, you can also expand all of the sub-headers below it
by selecting View -> Expand All, or pressing `Cmd-E`. Headers and sub-
headers can be collapsed by selecting View -> Collapse Subheads, or
pressing `Cmd-.` ("period" or "full-stop").

As expounded upon in the Read Me accompanying this download, this copy
of MORE was originally archived by Dave Winer on August 1, 1999. It
does not represent the commercial package as it was originally
released, and contains only the application file, and the Read Me
itself.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

Works well on 6.0.8, some bugs on later Systems. (An "Out of Memory"
error when displaying text in SSW 7, for example.) May also crash
Basilisk...

The images in these downloads won't mount in System 6 as the system
cannot create a Desktop file. Mount fine in SSW 7.
