This download include softwares sources files and instructions for
building GNU Midnight Commander V-4.6.1 terminal file manager on Mac
OS X Server 1.2 rhapsody.
The Mac OS X Server Developers Tools [(available on this page)][1] are
also needed.
Wicknix also posted an all built newer [Midnight Commander for Leopard
here][2]. This one here is of course an older version , for build on
an older system.
The sources included are for glib-1.2.10, ncurses-5.4 and MC(Midnight
Commander)-4.6.1.
I realise this is not a specific Mac software, I?m also a complete
noob at compiling stuff, so there may be better ways to do it. But
it?s still very cool to have MC working on Rhapsody.
Note, depending on the machine you build it, the functions keys may or
may not work to access to MC menus.
If not, try typing Esc, then the number corresponding to the function
key you want the access,
ie, for F9, type Esc then 9.
