continued to use it long after the 68k transition. To personalize the
program with your name, copy disk image Install to your hard disk and
replace the file Word Installer with the file from Word_Installer.sit.

serial is not asked for, nor required.

On a classic Mac OS use [MacZip][2] to extract and the [Virtual
CD/DVD][3] Utility to mount. On host Mac/PCs extract and drop the .iso
into a running Mini vMac window to mount, or add it to an emulator's
GUI.

   * DL #1:
Full install disk set. Install disk 1 has been previously personalized
?disks were Finder modified in 2002.

   * DL #5:
The installer says Word 5.1 rather than 5.1a, but after installing,
the Word about box shows 5.1a is installed. Also, the Install disk has
to be unlocked when you install so the installer can personalize the
install disk with a name and company details. This uploaded is fresh
from the box and not already personalized.

   * DL #6:
Install disk 1 must be unlocked when you install Word 5.1a so the
installer can personalize the install disk. This set includes an
additional unlocked disk as a back-up image for this purpose.

   * DL #8:
Requires personalization but is very quick and easy to install. This
copy does not require a writable disk to personalize nor does it
require any disk swapping.

   * DL #10:
This will allow you to open documents saved in Word 97-98 format (e.g.
from Office 98) directly into Word 5.1. In this Installer, click on
the drive drop-down for the Install Location, choose 'Select
Folder...', and then navigate to Select the 'Word Commands' subfolder
of your Word 5.1 installation.

   * DL #12:
Swedish install floppies, previously personalized. Stuffed with
Stuffit Deluxe 4.0.

   * DL #13:
UK English Proofing Tools for Word 5.1a. Can be used to augment a US
installation or to convert a US installation into a UK one if you
replace the Grammar file. Different language Spelling, Hyphenation,
and Thesaurus can co-exist (and may be selected in Preferences), but
only one Grammar language can be present.

   * DL #14:
French Proofing Tools for Word 5.1a. Can be used to augment another
installation or to convert a French Canadian installation into a
French one. Different language Spelling, Hyphenation, and Thesaurus
can co-exist (and may be selected in Preferences), but only one
Grammar language can be present.
