Compatibility
Architecture: 68k
MacTest II/IIx requires a SCSI loopback cable to run.
MacTest IIfx is incompatible with System 7 (the diskette itself boots
into System 6.0.5). If testing the serial ports with MacTest IIfx,
ensure that the Serial Switch control panel is set to "compatible"
beforehand or the test will fail. If testing the RAM, make sure to
boot from the MacTest IIfx floppy or the test will be unavailable.
(The machine being tested will automatically restart on its own when a
RAM test has finished prior to displaying the final results.) If
testing the ADB port, make sure that an original Apple ADB Mouse is
connected, as it may fail with third-party mice or trackballs (such as
the Kensington Turbo Mouse).
