2 CD set (Install CD and Restore CD) of Mac OS 9.0.3 had shipped with
that period iMac. Be sure to lock these files before mounting them.
Execution of the installer will check for model iMac to deny you. But
the HD.img contents (on the Restore-only CD) can be manually
copied/installed anywhere. Screenshot is taken of SheepShaver running

Sourced from internet archive as bin+cue imagefiles, each converted
directly to .cdr in one pass without intermediate discburning, by
using Toast Titanium 7.1.3 to mount & DiskUtility in OS X Tiger 10.4.8
to convert reimage. Install CD said to be Apple part number
"691-2523-A" and the Restore CD "691-2522-A". In situations when these
cdr files don't work, you may be able to fix that by renaming each
cdr either .toast or .iso
