FireWire Webcam Driver for Mac OS 8-9

This driver is intended primarily for webcams that were sold without
Macintosh support in OS 8 and 9. If you've already have a serial for
the FireWire driver for OS X, you can use the same serial number to
register this one too. Similarly, if you have a serial for this
drievr, you'll be able to upgrade to the OS X version with the same
serial number. If you own a webcam that came with Mac support on OS
8-9 from ADS, AME, Aplux, Orange Micro, or FirewireDirect, they wrote
those OEM drivers, so this is much like a free update. You will need
to disable your existing driver if you want to use this one.

System Requirements

Mac OS 8 or 9
FireWire port

Installation

1) Connect your camera. The camera must be connected when you install
to create the association between driver and camera. If you want to
support multiple cameras, you will need to install the driver
separately for each one.

2) Run the installer.

3) If your device already has a driver, remove the existing one. Then
unplug the device and plug it back in or reboot. Note: Due to some
issues with Installer VISE, you may want to reboot after installation,
although this is not strictly required.

When you first install the driver, your camera will operate for 30
minutes at a time. You can reset the timer by unplugging and
reconnecting the camera or by rebooting.

The first time you use the camera, and again whenever the demo period
expires, you will see a dialog that allows you to enter a serial
number. Each serial number is uniquely associated with one camera. You
can use the camera on as many machines as you like, but you need a
separate serial number for each camera you want to use.
