LEGO DACTA RoboLab is a simple programming environment designed for
the LEGO DACTA platform. It allows you to program the RCX brick that
was also found in the first generation LEGO Mindstorms sets. DACTA was
the LEGO Group's educational division.
> The RCX brick is a LEGO microcomputer used to create, build and
> program real robots and automated devices that can move, act and
> think on their own. Program your robots to unleash their behavior
> and functions by using ROBOLAB, the icon oriented programming
> software based on [LabVIEW][1], a leading software development tool
> for measurement and control from National Instruments.
DL #1: LEGO DACTA RoboLab 2.0 hybrid Mac/Windows installer CD image
created from the original CD-ROM, using Joliet Control and Virtual
CD/DVD-ROM Utility, compressed in a StuffIt file and within an .hqx
container.
Note that the RoboLab software replaced the older [Control Lab][2]
software, which was exclusively compatible with the Interface B and
let you program in the LOGO language.
