SilverKeeper is an application which provides Macintosh OS 9 and OS X
users with Backup, Synchronize, and Compare capabilities. Use
SilverKeeper for copying files to another hard drive or removable
media drive automatically for simple backups.
SilverKeeper is compatible with all Power Macintosh models that run
Mac OS 9, or Mac OS X, up to Mac OS X 10.4.11 and most read/write
devices, internal or external to the host Mac (does not need to be a
"LaCie" branded device).

SilverKeeper v1.1.4 was the final released version to run on both Mac
OS 9 and Mac OS X.
Compatibility
Architecture: PPC (Carbonized)
Minimum requirements are Mac OS 9.0.4 (with CarbonLib 1.5) or higher,
or Mac OS 10.1.2 or higher.
Recommended OS's are Mac OS 9.2.2 (with CarbonLib 1.6) or Mac OS X
10.2 or newer.
The minimum system requirements in the supplied v1.1.4 documentation
conflict with each other. I suspect that some of the documentation was
not updated from earlier releases of this software. YMMV.
SilverKeeper does not compress archives, it backs up and restores,
only. Therefore any chosen destination must have the capacity to store
what you are backing up to.
