iDock installation software for Mac OS 8 and Mac OS 9. The iDock
(original, from 1999) manual states it is compatible with Mac OS 8.1
or later. The iDock-2 (released in 2000) manual recommends Mac OS 8.6
or later, and says "for iMac DV (350MHz or higher) with 8.6, Upgrading
to OS 9 is highly recommended".

CompuCable's iDock came in two original models. Model 1 featured a
3-port USB hub, two Geo Port serial ports, and a 25-pin PC parallel
port. The iDock-2 featured a 4-port USB hub, two Geo Port serial
ports, an ADB port, and an internal floppy disk drive. Both feature a
swivel base designed for the iMac.

? Download 1 "iDock Installer 1.1.2" is an updated version of the
iDock software for either model of the dock.

? Download 2 "iDock Setup CD-ROM.img.sit" is the original CD for the
first iDock model. This disc has no version number.

? Download 3 "iDock Installer iDock-2.toast" is the original CD image
for the iDock-2 model. This disc is labeled 1.1.1.

The iDock requires external power. The iDock (original) is powered by
a +6v / 2000 mA power brick. The iDock-2 is powered by a +6v / 3000 mA
power brick.
