iCab for the Mac was intially a port of the browser "Cab" for the
Atari ST / Falcon line of computers. After Atari computers went south,
programmer Alexander Clauss and Oliver Joppich switched to the
Macintosh like so many Atarians. Alexander Clauss ported his browser
to the Mac, eventually rewriting everything from scratch and
optimizing it for 68k & PowerPC Macs. iCab comes with some neat
features such as content filtering, an in-built HTML validator and
more - stuff that many contenders only offered years after.

Surprisingly, iCab for modern devices is still being updated today.

This page is for versions of iCab that are *not* on the official
website anymore. (the oldest one there being 2.9.9) Versions 1.1, 1.2,
and 1.25 are time bombed and their corresponding cracked applications
have been uploaded. Subsequent versions may display a time bomb alert,
but the application is still useable.
