From the iBuildGuide pdf file:

> ### What is iBuild?
>
> iBuild is a multimedia authoring and presentation tool for the Mac.
>
> You can use it to create a vast range of stacks and applications:
>
>   * interactive presentations
>   * photo-albums
>   * movie-albums
>   * slide shows
>   * e-books
>   * educational courseware
>   * quizzes and tests
>   * talking books
>   * games
>   * standalone applications
>   * kiosk contents
>

>
> iBuild stacks can be constructed from a selection of over 40
> different types of ?objects?, many of which are interactive or
> animated. You can specify object properties by simple dialogs (no
> programming required), and a drag ?n drop Library provides hundreds
> of ready made examples. iBuild stacks can be saved as independent
> stand alone applications.
>
> But iBuild?s real power comes from its use of AppleScript as
> (optional) scripting language. This places iBuild in the heart of
> the Macintosh world: iBuild stacks can share data and send
> instructions other applications, making it the ideal tool for making
> customized interfaces to other scriptable applications, or simply as
> a GUI for AppleScript itself.

This is the last capture of the Acrux Software website:
on December 25, 2001. Most of the links (except the downloads) were
also captured.

However, iBuild was later included in the [MacAddict #060
Coverdisc][2], as well as a game-creation compilation called [Mac Game
Creator Toolkit (CD-ROM) [WANTED]][3].

Download #1 is v1.1b2 of iBuild Lite, dated 2001, and compatible with
carbonized Mac OS 9.x and PPC OS Xs.

Download #2 is v1.0 of iBuild Lite, dated 2001 and compatible with
carbonized Mac OS 9.x and PPC OS Xs.

(The "iBuild Lite CD" on the [MacAddict #060 Coverdisc][2] is the same
as DL#2. The "CD" in the title doesn't refer to a whole-CD-ROM
release; it refers to the fact that iBuild Lite was made for
distribution on CD-ROMs.)

Download #3 is preview version v0.9.0 of iBuild Lite, dated 2000 and
FAT (68K and PPC). I found this on [SOFT 7][4].

Here's something akin to a press release:
bin/logbrowse.pl?trx=vx&list=EDTECH&month=00...][5]

It shows that there was a v0.9.4 preview release.
