Some time ago I stumbled upon an old IA website article explaining
this Stack, the links however were dead.
Yesterday thanks to @wirefall's comment -bumping the old
[JackHammer][1] thread.
Thanks to @slomacuser comment "Got it from @splorp Power CD?s. He will
probably upload them here soon. Splorp is a person from flickr I
mentoned above." -I viewed the photos on flickr.
I clicked his [Mainstay Capture][2] photo -from the comments, I
caught,
"I have pooptonnes of software archived around here."
I then turned to my best friend 'The Internet Archive' and searched
for '[Grant Hutchinson][3]' -it granted me two of Grant's old sites
(3rd one from his Card above).
Then took a [cdx-peek][4] and kept changing the years until I got to
year 2006 -where .hqx archives splorp out.
I gave up finding that article again. When I did a new search, oddly
enough I found Grant's Stack already on IA
[-Stack plays in the browser.][5] I've included his personal greetings
card on this page (last screenshot.)
A long roundabout route, for something that was right in front of me
the whole time. Yep I forget to search in the present when my head is
stuck in the past. -nevertheless it made me happy when I found the
Stack -along with Grant's Card, (+ his app -page pending) and his
extremely long list of links that's been added to the Latest Additions
in [Bookmarks][6]. I hope it will make others happy too.
I sure am impressed how much HyperCard has meant for others.
Even a 12 year old jumped into the world of HyperTalk, and after just
a few months
-made his first NBA Basketball video game in HyperCard.
