A note about the downloads available:

 1. file is the Windows CD-ROM (CD version 3.5.0)
This CD contains "HP Image Zone" and "HP System Diagnostics" for
Windows.

 2. file is the Macintosh CD-ROM (CD version 6.4.0)

The manual download is a PDF'ed version of the Readme file found on
the CD.

Hint:
The Mac drivers CD contains Internet Explorer 6 SP1 in different
languages for Windows on its PC partition
(Danish, German, English, Spanish, Finish, French, Italian, Dutch,
Norwegian, Portuguese [Brazil], Swedish).
To reach it, do right-click "Show contents" in Windows, but beware of
the Autoplay functionality,
which pops up with "Please insert the HP OfficeJet 4200 Windows
drivers CD-ROM".
