Started in the year 2000 Google Sketchup was a 3d modelling tool.
Acquired in 2006, though it became an app owned by google. This was
the last release of Google Sketchup made for PPC Tiger machines,
though Sketchup 8 was the last 10.4 release for Intel machines. I have
yet to find a dmg of the free version but if I run across it I won't
hesitate to add it. This just meets the mark of abandonware as 7.1 was
released in 2009.
Either way the stores where you can get others creations is sadly down
now yet this still is a great and fun program to use. I tested this on
a 400mhz g3 and it worked perfectly fine (make sure in the settings
you keep hardware acceleration on but turn off fast performance.
Turning off hardware acceleration for an old computer is a good idea
if you want to see images but if you are just modelling I suggest you
keep it on. I will add 6 soon, too, as it has support for 10.3
machines.
