For Mac OS X versions 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, 10.5.
Requires X11 or XDarwin. ?Except DL's #8 and #11: Experimental native
versions for Leopard 10.5x Universal Intel/PPC.
The experimental native v2.4.5r2 release is a lot more stable than the
newer v2.6.0 experimental release.
GIMP v1.2.5 and GIMP v2.x can co-exist agreeably on the same computer
if comparisons are needed.
Both v1.2.5 and v2.x access their lib files, etc, in folders
~/.gimp-1.2 and ~/.gimp-2.x, respectively.
