The GatorBox was a LocalTalk to Ethernet hardware bridge. There were
multiple hardware versions of the GatorBox (GatorBox and GatorBox CS
were the most common) All GatorBox devices used a common suite of
software with the less than creative name of GatorBox Software for
device configuration. This software also downloaded firmware to the
GatorBox device that enabled additional features.

The GatorBox Software consisted of three modules. GatorSystem,
GatorPrint and GatorShare. GatorSystem was the base software, which
included AppleTalk, TCP/IP and DECnet routing. GatorPrint added UNIX
to LocalTalk printing and GatorShare added AppleShare to NFS file
sharing. (GatorShare included the features of GatorPrint.)

For more information see the attached GatorBox User's Guide. The
User's Guide is for version 2.0, but is still useful for versions 1.6
and 3.0.

Download #1: Floppy images of GatorBox Software version 1.6 from 1990.
It includes the GatorSystem and GatorShare images to install on a
physical GatorBox. Note: The GatorBox System Software disk had bad
blocks and this image was a reconstruction. The GatorSystem file may
be damaged. You would be better served using the GatorShare image
(which is a superset of the GatorSystem file) Alternately, use the
newer versions contained in download #2.

Download #2: Archive of GatorBox Software found on the Internet. It
contains disk images for GatorBox & GatorShare 2.0 and expandable
archives for the GatorBox Software 3.0.x (The archives are password
protected but the passwords are in the upgrade-passwords.txt file)
