Fade to Black works on any Macintosh with a black and white screen.
This includes the Macintosh 512K, 512KE, Plus, SE, SE/30, and the
Macintosh II, IIx, and IIcx in black and white (one bit per pixel)
mode. On the Macintosh 512K, Fade to Black suspends the current
application while it is active. On other Macintosh models, the
application running when Fade to Black fades the screen continues
operating
