Drive7 is a Hard Drive Formatter and Updater. The download is a
DiskCopy 4.2 image of the floppy boot disk (SSW 7.1 with various
System Enablers) containing the Lite version of Drive7 that was
included with certain hard drives. The information on the disk has the
following to say about Drive7:

"With the introduction of Mac OS 7, Macintosh owners have been
challenged with software and hardware incompatibilities. Many drives
have been formatted with software that is not Mac OS 7 compatible.To
resolve this problem, Apple recommends Macintosh owners update or
reformat their drives to make them fully Mac OS 7 compatible. Because
the formatter that comes with Apple System software only works on
Apple drives, Casa Blanca Works introduced Drive7, the first
affordable and fully Mac OS 7 compatible formatter for the Macintosh."
