DOS or Windows disks mount automatically on your Mac desktop. Access
to directories and files on DOS-formatted media is completely
transparent. DOS Mounter 98's extension mapping automatically provides
a link from pre-established DOS file extensions to the appropriate
Macintosh application. Like any Macintosh document, DOS or Windows
files can be easily opened and edited by any compatible Macintosh
application.

Architecture: 68k PPC
DOS Mounter 98, installs either a 68k or PPC version depending on the
type of Mac it installs to.
![Warning][11] | Note: DOS Mounter 98 is not Mac OS 9 compliant. It
may fail on those systems (it does not work for me on Mac OS 9.1).

* DOS Mounter 98 is not able to read an NTFS partitions.
* PC Exchange, included with the Mac OS from System 7.5 on, will
interfere with DOS Mounter 98's ability to load and should be
disabled, and the Macintosh restarted in order for DOS Mounter to

* In MacOS 8.5+, "PC Exchange" is renamed as "File Exchange" ?This
