DiskDup is a shareware utility that creates, mounts, and writes disks
and disk images of floppy disks and other media. Unlike ShrinkWrap,
DiskDup can create images of 400K MFS disks. It can overcome mild
forms of copy protection, and can also be set to tolerate bad sectors
in the case of damaged media.

DiskDup is available as either the shareware Plus ("+") release, or
its commercial Pro variant, though confusingly, the version numbers of
each do not correspond with one another. For clarity's sake, the
downloads here are listed in their approximate release order, with the
Pro version listed following it's corresponding Plus release, when
available.

The principle distinction between the Plus and the Pro versions is the
added ability in Pro to duplicate any size removable cartridge (Zip,
Syquest, Bernoulli, etc.), in addition to floppy disks. The last
available releases of DiskDup are DiskDup+ 2.9.2a and DiskDup Pro
1.3.2a. If in doubt, use one of these (or, if on a 68000 processor
Mac, try DiskDup+ 2.8.2a).
