DesktopCalendar is a freeware application, in which a calendar is
displayed on your desktop as an overlay of the current desktop
background.
It also shows today's date on the Dock or in the menu bar. The
calendar may be moved to any location on the desktop. Fonts, lettering
and number sizes, colors, and translucency, can all be changed to
suit. You are also able to scroll forward or backward through
Months/Years either via the menus or with the Navigator (show/hide
tool).
Later versions are native in either English or Japanese languages,
depending on your installed OS.

Installing DesktopCalendar:
Except for DL #1, these downloads contains 2 Calendar apps each,
"DesktopCalendar" app, and "DesktopCalendar_SB". They both produce the
same desktop calendar, but their preference settings are accessed
differently, and you only need to install one of the apps of your
choosing.
DesktopCalendar places a date and preferences settings icon into your
Dock when it is active.
DesktopCalendar_SB places today's date in the menu bar, giving you
access to DesktopCalendar's preference settings via this menu.
Move either one of them to some location in your HD, e.g.; the
Applications folder or Utilities folder.
To have DesktopCalendar or DesktopCalendar_SB launch when starting up
your Mac, etc.; Add its name to your User Account's Login Items
settings.

DesktopCalendar 0.8 beta 1 is a Universal Binary application, suitable
for Mac OS X Panther 10.3.x and later.
