The light version of Cubase that came after the VST series, often
provided free with hardware.

Unzip and run 'Cubase LE.pkg' to install, no serial, dongle or dongle
emulator is required to run this software.

Limitations

 * Up to 48 Audio tracks
 * Up to 64 MIDI tracks

Note: The .pkg installer may experience issues if attempting to
install this onto Macs running Mac OS X 10.2x to 10.3x. Try using the
pre-installed copy (3rd DL above) if this occurs.

The "Getting Started.pdf" (Manual DL above) states that Cubase LE
requires a G4 Mac. However it appears to run OK on a G3 too
(screenshot 4 above).
