Originally from Salient Software (later acquired by Fifth Generation
Systems and then Symantec), CopyDoubler is a Control Panel that makes
file copying and trash emptying much faster by more efficiently using
memory and processor time. Copies can be left in the foreground for
maximum speed or put into the background so you can continue work. You
can disable Verify for even faster copying. Fast Replace and
Scheduling features make it act as a simple backup program that only
writes changed files to your designated media.
