Code::Blocks is a "cross-platform" IDE for C, C++ and FORTRAN software
development. A compiler needs to be installed separately (i.e. through
installing XCode).

Download #1 is an official binary distribution for CodeBlocks 10.05 p1
(patch 1). This is the latest PPC-compatible official binary. (Source
code of later versions may or may not still be OS-X-PPC-compatible.)

Download #2 is an official binary distribution for CodeBlocks 8.02.
Universal binary, and earliest-available version in the project's
current SourceForge page.

The official website [originally][1] listed a patched-up 8.02 version
known as "patch 2", but it was [not archived][2]. Missing file name:
codeblocks-8.02-p2-mac.zip

It seems, historically, the app has started as a Windows-only app,
then ported over to GNU/Linux, and finally to Mac OS X. The binaries
of the versions listed here seem to be the only ones with PowerPC
support.

Later versions with pre-built binaries exist, but are all Intel-only.
