Chameleon changes the background tiles of a Macintosh desktop. This
was the commercial version of [Before Dark][1], a shareware utility
app also written by Craig Marciniak, and used for changing desktop
tiles on a Macintosh System.

Chameleon was part of an earlier set of the [7th Heaven Utilities][2] (the MG's copy includes Chameleon v2.0).

 * DL #1: The Chameleon v1.0.1 application only, in a StuffIt 4
   ".sit" archive enclosed in a ".hqx" binhex wrapper.
 * DL #2: The Chameleon v2.0.3 application only, in a StuffIt 4
   ".sit" archive enclosed in a ".hqx" binhex wrapper.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

68k encoded. Runs well in Basilisk II, & Mini vMac II.

Chameleon is best suited for installing onto Macintosh Systems 7.0 to
7.1.2 ? Largely redundant for Mac OS's 7.5+, as desktop tiles were
introduced into the Mac OS as a standard option and made obsolete by
Mac OS 7.5's own "Desktop Patterns" Control Panel app.
