Although the following fact isn't mentioned in any of the four
ReadMe's, all of these animated-cat apps are "mascots" that were made
using [Cutie Mascot][2].

The author's page (for which the achive.org link was provided) leads
to a download page for all 7 volumes:

[English version]

Most of the links are dead, but I was able to dig out a few of the
surviving downloads from the Japanese and Swedish sites. I think 3 of
them may be volumes 1-3, but I'm not sure what kind of files they are,
since I can't read the Kanji. (I can open all of the Japanese files in
KanjiTalk and cut-and-paste the Kanji snippets into a translator app,
but that takes time.)

Someday, I also hope to find or hack the passwords for all of these
mascots (assuming the author doesn't still want compensation for them,
2+ decades later.)

Download #1 is actually a Stuffit installer that installs all four
folders (one for each animated-cat app).

Someday, if I can locate the other 6 volumes, and any of them are
mascots, I'll be sure to upload them to this page.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

Technically, all four mascots are FAT (68K and PPC native), but they
also soak up a ton of processor time, to the point of not only slowing
the emulator, but also the host computer as well. I've let all 4
mascots run at the same time in Basilisk II, but their antics are just
about the only thing that gets done. (Worse yet, the mama cat has
3(+?) kittens.)

At least one of the mascots also plays music in the background, and
although the sound for any mascot can be turned off, interacting with
that mascot can cause the music to spontaneously turn back on.

Otherwise, you should probably just pick your favorite cat and leave
it at that.
