Black Box is an INIT written by Andrew Welch (of [Ambrosia fame][1])
that adds several enhancements to early Mac OS:

 * A "Task Strip" akin to NeXT computer's application dock into which
   you can add Applications and Desk Accessories and launch them from
   the Task Strip.
 * A perpetual analog or digital clock that will also tell you the
   current date if you click on it
 * A stars screen saver that takes you and your Mac on an
   interstellar voyage.
 * Your Undo, Cut, Copy & Paste function keys (on extended keyboards)
   will work.
 * Screen capture and printing when menus are down, in color, or any
   portion of the screen.
 * Automatic "smart" curly quotes.
 * All dialogs support Cut, Copy, and Paste, you can interact with
   them through the keyboard.
 * A "window flipping" hot key that cycles through the open windows
 * Protection from System Bombs.
 * Zooming effects when a window opens.

(v. 1.5)

See the enclosed docs for more info on how to toggle these functions
and how they work in detail.

Not to be mistaken with the game [Black Box][2].
