This CD is of a BeOS preview release from 1997. Same 230105 CD as the
[MacWorld Release][1] \- but without the dual HFS partition
(containing only the MacWorld press releases for the Expo). Perhaps
more "user friendly" WRT burning a copy from this DL - and actually
installing it onto a [compatible][2] Macintosh.

[Compatible only with certain 603/604 PowerPC machines][2].

If you have heard of, or knew of BeOS beforehand (and can actually use
this Preview Release), cool. Otherwise, this 279 MB DL, will be of
little use.

That is, it cannot run in an emulator (or an incompatible Mac) - it
must Be a [compatible][2] PPC Macintosh...
