These BBEdit HTML Extensions, extend the functionality of BBEdit and
BBEdit Lite. BBEdit is a full-featured text editor supporting enhanced
find/replace functions, line wrapping and unwrapping, and various
other "text tweaking" features. BBEdit comes in two versions, BBEdit,
the full edition and BBEdit Lite, the freeware version.

HTML Extensions rel. 14 has a nice template feature providing a
straight-foward method of locating pre-written headers and footers.
For example, if you first open a previously saved document and then
use the template function, HTML Extensions will incorporate the text
into the BODY of your HTML.

Creating links and anchors in our HTML is straight-forward too. Simply
select the text intended to be "hot" and enter your NAME or URL. HTML
Extensions does not make you go through an extensive dialog box before
you can make some text a link or an anchor. Similarly, the creation of
Forms is not a long, drawn out process where you have to navigate many
dialog boxes before anything gets done.

HTML Extensions are not as full-featured as some of the other editors
available. However:

 * What's new in release 14
   * The doctype declaration has been updated to point to the new [HTML 3.2][1] standard.
   * Now there is only one set of HTML extensions and you can choose your preferred upper or lower case for the tags in the [Template][2] dialog.
   * New HTML extensions have been added for [divisions][3], [horizontal rules][4] and [line breaks][5].
   * New tags have been added to the [Style][6] and [Format][7] extensions.
   * The [Meta-information][8] extension now features some short-cuts for more or less standard http-equiv fields.
