Basilisk II build 142, the assembly optimized version of the Macintosh
emulator Basilisk II by [Lauri Pesonen][1], for (32bit) Windows. It
works well in Windows versions 95 through XP. This version of Basilisk
II is a Windows only software, branched from the original Basilisk II
by [Christian Bauer][2], and is separate from the more familiar [JIT
builds of B2][3] developed by [Gwenol Beauchesne][4], as found on OS
X, Linux and Windows, etc.

> Basilisk II build 142 is an old version of Basilisk II. It has been
> superseded by more recent ?JIT? versions of Basilisk II, but certain
> users require the older version, so a setup guide is provided
> herein. Its unique features are that it supports SCSI cards and
> devices, and can read mac 1.4Mb floppy disks.

 * Some of the Cool Features available in build 142:
   * Floppy disk Read/Write support ? this includes built in, or USB 1.4MB and Imation LS-120 devices
   * Hardware SCSI supported (up to 7 connected SCSI devices) ? SCSI Hard drives, MO, Iomega Zip/Jaz/etc; various CD burners ? SCSI support requires a PCI SCSI card installed on the host PC, e.g.; Adaptec PCI cards.
   * An awesomely stable Ethernet Driver (Win32 only) ? with this driver you can elect to use a unique static IP address for Basilisk II, no need for SLIRP
   * A keyboard key code editor that is [easy and beautiful][7] to work with.
