The animated cursor consists of an acur resource, and several CURS
resources. These are in the exact same format as those for the Finder.
The acur describes the number and sequence of the CURS resources.

Autocursor installs in the top of memory above the application heap,
and uses a small non relocatable block in the system heap. It takes
approximately 1K of memory with the default cursor. Autocursor is
compatible with System 4.1. I?ve tested it on my Macintosh Plus with
various software. It also seems to work all right with the Beta
version of MultiFinder. Since I didn?t do anything too extraordinary
or even mildly illegal, it should work on SEs and IIs as well.
