AppleCAT was a set of diagnostic software (CAT - Computer Aided
Troubleshooting) provided to Apple service providers. It required two
systems to use. One, the Unit Under Test (UUT) and the second a Mac to
run the tests from.
Download #1: Contains version 1.0 of AppleCAT IIcx, to test Macintosh
IIcx systems. (English) Note: Version 1.0 is for the Mac IIcx only. It
does not test the IIci.
Download #2: Contains version F1-2.0 of AppleCAT IIcx/IIci, to test
Macintosh IIcx/IIci systems. (English)
The ?Apple Service Technical Procedures Macintosh Family? Volume One
and Two are technical manuals very useful for all owners of a
Macintosh Plus, Classic, Classic II, SE, SE/30, LC, II, Iix, IIfx,
IIsi, Iici, Quadra 700 and Quadra 900, showing everything you may need
to know about these computers.
In the Volume One there are also the instructions to use AppleCAT
SE/30 and SE, while in Volume Two for AppleCAT II/IIx and AppleCAT
IIcx.

Does not work on an emulator.
Will run on Macintosh Plus, SE, SE/30, II, IIx and IIcx. Can only test
Mac IIcx/IIci systems.
