This is Apple System Recovery 2 disc. This CD includes the system
software for all G3-based Macintosh computers & iMac computers such as
Mac OS 8-8.6 and applications.
This disc has the bootable volume, Mac OS 8.6, and works fine for
Power Macintosh computers, all G3-based Macintosh computers and iMac
computers as well for the Mac OS emulators.
NOTE: It's not possible to use and boot this on iMac Slot Loading,
PowerBook (Firewire), iBook, and Power Mac G4 because Apple has
confirmed the installers are not available in this CD set.
The top download link above is the September 2000 release of Apple
System Software Recovery 2 CD-ROM ".toast" image, compressed with zip.
However, this disc is for evaluation purposes only as this disc is the
part of the AppleCare Support Professional Tools.
