The screensaver performs best on the following Macintosh systems with
a color or black-and-white Apple display:
? Macintosh IIci
? Macintosh Quadra 700
? Macintosh Quadra 950
The screensaver also runs on the Macintosh Classic II, LC II, IIsi,
IIvx and the Powerbook computers; however, it may run at reduced
speeds on these computers. You should consider running the MACINTOSH
EXPRESS MOVIES on these systems.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE SCREENSAVER
? Turn off any other screensaver that is currently running.
? Make sure the Monitors setting in the Control Panels folder is set
to 256 colors.
TO INSTALL THE SCREENSAVER
? Open the Mac Express Screensaver folder. Double-click the "Install
Apple Screensaver" icon.
NOTE: The Macintosh Express Screensaver automatically installs the
Apple Garamond font and the QuickTime extension into the System
Folder. A Macintosh Express Screensaver alias is also placed into the
Startup Items folder to ensure that the Screensaver is installed when
you restart. Application memory size is set to 650K upon installation.
