Noticed this one was absent so picked up a copy at archive.org.
As you can see from the file size it's a bit more barebones than the
later volumes as there are no system software installers on this one.
* DL #1: d e v e l o p ? CD Issue 1 as an iso image in a zipped
archive.
* DL #2: d e v e l o p ? CD Issue 1 as an iso image in a zipped
archive. Rebuild of the above image for Mini vMac compatibility.
Unzip on host Mac/PC and drag into Mini vMac window to mount.
The on board d e v e l o p journal magazine (has icon of Clarus
wearing a feathered hat) is a card based application produced by
Silicon Beach Software. It runs well in System 6 and 7. It has over
100 pages of reading content.
There's also a smattering of Apple II info and code on board. The CD
(DL #2) mounts in [Gus][1] the Apple IIGS emulator OK, but
unfortunately the d e v e l o p magazine app is for Mac OS only.
Compatibility
Architecture: 68k
The builder of this early CD ROM may have used a Mac with a dead clock
battery, as the last modified dates in the ROM are for the year 1904.
This doesn't affect its usability.
I get errors when trying to play the d e v e l o p journal e-zine in
Basilisk II and SheepSaver. It runs correctly for me in Mini vMac in
System 6 and 7, a Mini vMac II variation build with 8MB RAM & a 256
color display works best.
