This reference archive is a collection of clean, fresh extractions of
original install disks, for Apple A/UX 2.0 and 2.0.1 operating system.

Compiled and released as a 'set' by Mr. Fahrenheit, from original in-
hand media, where possible.

Included with the 'Reference Archive 0.96c' are all of the disk
images, tools, utilities, and documentation and training guides, as
one ISO. Some taken from internal CDs distributed within Apple.

The 'Reference Archive version 0.96c' ISO CD-ROM is meant to be
written to a CD, and booted on a Macintosh computer, to use the built-
in utilities to prepare and format a drive, to read documentation, and
to write out floppy disks from disk images. It contains a bootable
System 7.5.5 System Folder, to be used as a resource to get a machine
'up and running'. A Read Me file details instructions in abbreviated
form.

Included in both the 'Reference Archive version 0.96c' ISO and the
'Apple AUX 2.x Floppy Images' are Apple DART disk images, DiskCopy 4.2
and 6.3 disk images, as well as the original Apple CD-ROM images in
toast format (which is truly .iso). The individual disk image
archives are presented here separately for individual download,
strictly for convenience. All of these same image files, shown on this
page separately, are included on the 'Reference Archive version 0.96c'
ISO.

The 'Reference Archive version 0.96c' ISO in this release can also be
downloaded, and simply mounted on a Macintosh computer, and the .toast
and other disk images can be written out that way as well.

This version is 0.96c, created and released in March 2021. Some
problems may exist with some files, as no further testing was done
following the release in March 2021. However, October 2022 update:
Floppy disk images from the 2.0.0 set have successfully been written
out to disks, and used to install the OS from the images on this
reference set. So far, no other images have been 100% confirmed to
work, but there's no real reason they shouldn't work. Feedback on disk
image quality is welcome to confirm that they work completely.

Also included on this page are the known-good, clean original disk
extractions of all of the disks needed for installation, in a variety
of formats and download options, available for download separately (as
needed).

Download #10 is a PDF guide.
