Acta Reader is a shareware app that allows you to view and minimally
edit Acta outlines, such as the BMUG meeting minutes (contained on the
early PD-ROMs, archived elsewhere on the Garden).

Don't be alarmed by the shareware nag (it gave me a heart attack when
I first saw it), which is truly hilarious when you get a better look
at it. All the "OK" buttons lead to the same thing - they dismiss the
nag and take you into the application.

(The price of the paid app, which functions as a desk accessory, was
$59.95.)

This copy of the app was taken from the BMUG PD-ROM and stuffed with
Stuffit 3.5 - and I even remembered to check for viruses this time!
