| Today is the 11th and I'm two days behind on my reviews. I had a | |
| minor cold this weekend (sore throat, runny nose, etc.) and I was | |
| unable to think about beer without getting nauseous. Now it's | |
| Monday and I'm on the mends with three unopened beers in the fridge | |
| and some catching up to do! my plan is to continue in order and make | |
| up the missed days by doing two-a-day sometime in the future. | |
| This beer is from a brewery about 10 minutes from my house that I've | |
| never heard of before. It looks like it was on draft at the Craft | |
| Beer Cellar and they decided to can it and include it in the advent | |
| box. It drinks like a standard west coast double IPA. Very hoppy and | |
| thick flavor. There might be some citrus flavor present, but I'm | |
| still a bit congested from the cold I'm not tasting very much. | |
| Decent overall, but I don't think there's anything here that sets it | |
| apart from every other double IPA on the shelf. | |
| - Would I buy it again? Probably not. | |
| - How much could I drink in one night? Given it's a very heavy IPA, | |
| probably only a pint. |
