CAPPLE v2.0

Original Code written by Randy Spurlock (APL2EM version 2)

CAPPLE was developed by Scott Crow.

The following is a current listing of modifications to the Spurlock code:

1) The keyboard joystick routines have been disabled and replaced with
  a PC Analog Joystick routine.

2) A calibration routine for the PC Joystick has been added.  Press the
  <F8> key while holding the joystick to the bottom-right to align
  the joystick to the emulator.  (Note: The NumLock key still enables/
  disables the joystick).

3) A speed delay increase/decrease was implemented using the <F6> (less delay)
  and <F7> (more delay) keys. The emulator starts off with no delay.

These modifications are scheduled for the next release of CAPPLE:

1) Disk swapping while within the emulator.

This package is incomplete in that it does NOT contain the necessary
ROM images.  ROM images were removed in order to avoid possible
violation of copyright laws.  If you have an Apple ][+ then you could
dump the ROM images yourself (see the file
wilbur.stanford.edu:/pub/apple2/dumping-ROMs) or you could try posting
to alt.emulators.ibmpc.apple2 telling people you have a ][+ but don't
know how to get at the ROMs and maybe someone will take mercy on you.
