This may be old news for everyone else but I just learned that an
individual by the name of kibook wrote a *chan for gopher. Many
people have a negative opinion of the chans but I love them. I
discovered 4chan ~2009 and have never stopped posting. The ability to
post what you like free of an account and a name is magical. On 4chan all
that you have is the text and image of your post with no persistent
identity. The structure of a chan creates a space that is unlike
traditional forums. It reminds me a bit of Marshall McLuhan although I
don't know if he would make any distinction as they are all electronic
forms of communication. Regardless of my personal opinions I will
include the address of his github bellow along with the address of the chan
he hosts in gopher space.
