How does one explore the gopher space? I know one browses the web but do they
burrow into the gopher holes? Regardless during one such exploration I
discovered the following gopher hole, The Joseph de Maistre Memorial Gopher!
(gopher://maistre.uni.cx), and I was reminded of the first time I had read
Maistre. It was shortly after Trump took office for the first time. The
media had predicted one thing with such confidence and yet something else
happened. The world as I knew it was broken and I had to learn more. Naturally
I did what any (in)sane person would do, jump into the deep end of the pool
head first. Evola, Maistre, and Guillaume Faye to name a few. My rather
poor university education had left some large gaps in my mind. Such gaps are
what Dick Cheney called unknown unknowns. I was unaware of how ignorant I was.
With that in mind I have added a new section to the gopher hole.
