I Didn't You Could Yodel! is a complete adventure/text game! This game is
for people who loved and enjoyed Zork (tm) and The Pawn (tm) and other high
quality text adventures. We wrote a sophistacated parser that interprets
complete sentences and understands thousands of words.
Yodel is a humorous adventure that will take you from mom's kitchen to the
farthest reaches of the universe (no, really! You do go to the farthest
reaches of the universe!) You will encounter many interesting characters,
pets, and dozens of stupid people. We have included myraids of puzzles
and braintwisters for your happy typing fingers.
We detest games that require hours of invested time, only to get a really
poor ending. From beginning to end, Yodel will entertain you.
(At this point we were going to put a lot of phoney accolades from fake
computer reviews to praise Yodel, but we believe it stands on its own.)
TO START GAME:
If you are running Windows 3.x, make sure you have 540k free.
(You may have to exit to dos).
If you are running Windows95, your all set!
-> run YODEL.EXE
TO PLAY GAME:
Just type complete English phrases or sentences,
Use compass directions (N,S,E,W,NE,...) to move from room to room.
Abbreviations & helpful commands.
i = inventory
l = look
q = quit
g = again (repeats last command)
it = last noun mentioned
all = all objects in room (example: Get all but the book.)
save = can save up to 5 games
load,restore = loads a previously save game
restart = restarts game from beginning
Hint:
Make a map as you play, and save the game frequently.
