Thank you for reading this file. I'll try and be brief.
A few very important points:
- TAPESTRY has a prologue, and although it CAN be skipped using the
'begin' command, it is suggested you play through it AT LEAST ONCE,
as it contains information necessary to completing the story. Don't
expect to solve any puzzles or do any major exploration, but do
look around and ask questions...
- In order to make NPC interaction more 'realistic,' the majority of
conversation is handled via the 'ask' and 'tell' verbs. The syntax
being:
ASK <NPC> ABOUT <SUBJECT> and
TELL <NPC> ABOUT <SUBJECT>.
Questions can be answered via 'tell' or
SAY <ANSWER> TO <NPC>.
- As presented in the story's prologue, there are three mutually-
exclusive paths through TAPESTRY. Once a path is begun, it must
be followed to its conclusion. Be careful in your actions, because
you may inadvertantly choose a path without realizing it.
