This is the walkthrough for Marooned. Please note that some events do not take place at the same time as in this walkthrough; I will note these below with brackets {}.

After finishing with some afternoon fishing, you notiice some rather dark and menacing clouds have snuck op on you. While preparing to head back to port, the wind picks up and jagged streaks of lightning stab the sky. A heavy rain begins to pelt you. The waves grow stronger and threaten to dump you in the raging ocean.
Dark clouds drift overhead and the ocean swirls angrily around the boat. You can barely make out anything in front of you.
Despite your attempts to keep the boat upright, a huge wave hits you and dumps you into the raging ocean. You plunge deep into the water and everything is confusion. You can't tell up from down as you struggle to make your way to the surface. You see what appears to be an island and use all your strength to swim towards it. After struggling with the surf, you pull yourself onto a beach. Tired and with muscles aching, you black out and sleep for what seems like hours.............
And when you wake up, you don't know where you are. Some kind of island, but you can't see or hear anything to indicate it's inhabited. One thing is clear though. You must somehow get off this speck in the middle of the ocean.

This is a shallow gully with lots of tiny and large rocks strewn about. It looks like this was once a river bed, but it is now long dry.
Your stomach is growling. You'd better get something to eat.

This is a small river cutting through the heart of the jungle. You can easily ford it and it twists and turns all over the place.

You find the beginning of the river. The river starts out as a small creek which grows larger and larger and is fed by an underground spring. The water is cool and crystal clear and quickly flow on its way.

You lay the berries down and slowly back away. At first, he looks at them cautiously, then picks them up and begins to eat them. After a minute or two, he falls over and appears to pass out. Something rolls out of his hand.

This is a short beach surrounded by thick jungle growth to the north and south. Offshore about five yards to the west is a large fishing boat, the kind that people charter to take them out to deep sea fish. Coral reefs circle the island just a few yards offshore.

You are swimming in the water.

This boat is roughly thirty feet long and ten feet wide and is resting on a reef just offshore at a 45 degree angle. From this point of view, you can't see why it came to rest here, but the stern is under water. Every so often, the boat rocks gently against the waves.

As you venture, the glow of the sun gently settles below the horizon, dabbing the sky with a breathtaking selection of reds, golds and oranges. It's starting to get dark now, and the stars are coming out.

This is a steep hill which leads to the east.

This is a shallow, peaceful lagoon which comes in from the shore about ten yards from the sea. The sea breeze is strong here, and you can smell the sweet scent of tropical flowers. About fifteen yards out to the south you see a large outcropping of rock with a tall palm tree on it. There also seems to be a small cave on the outcropping.

This is a rocky cliff which rises from the beach below. At its highest point, it's about 50 feet up, and slopes down to the east and west. This might be the highest point on the island.

This is a wide sandy beach which sweeps to the west. Fiddler crabs scurry back and forth in the surf and gentle waves lap at the shore, giving no clue to the savage storm which landed you here.

This is the extreme western end of the beach. Your progress to the west is blocked by a large boulder and thick underbrush.

This small beach continues here, as do the reefs offshore. Except for the occasional patch of seaweed, the coast is clear.

You make your way carefully to the bridge, which is where all the navigation equipment and controls are, including the wheel, radar, ship to shore radio and compass. Maps and papers are scattered all over the place, along with empty food packages. In the corner is a sort of makeshift hammock. It looks like someone slept here for a little bit. A passage leads downwards from here.
Also here is a flare, a tool box and a map.

You descend the steps and make your way to the engine room, which is flooded up to your waist with seawater. Flotsam and jetsam floats past you in the water. There is a strong smell of gasoline here.
Also here is a first aid kit, a life preserver and a dented gas can.

You are swimming underwater in the engine room. Your eyes sting because of the oil and gas in the water and you find it hard to stay under. Before you is the ship's engine.

This part of the beach has a lot of seaweed and debris washed up on it, creating a huge ugly eyesore. But at least this suggests that the island is not far from the shipping lanes.

You throw the seal carcass into the water far from you. You see the shark make a bee line for it and the last you see of the seal is the shark swallowing it whole.
With the shark occupied, you can now make your way south. Shark .

This is nothing more than a mass of rough rocks at the mouth of the lagoon. There isn't really much to it, and you can only go so far. A tall swaying palm tree is here. There seems to be an opening to a small cave here.

You are now in a small cave about ten feet long and five feet wide. There's not much room here, but it could make a passable shelter is one was needed.

You strike the blade of the knife against the piece of flint, and an ever so small spark jumps out. You try again and more sparks fly, and you succeed in starting a fire. Because of the gas on the tires, the flames spread quickly and soon the tires are a flaming mass giving off a large cloud of thick black smoke.
You scan the horizon and see a ship sailing past the island. Apparently, they have seen the smoke and are coming towards you.
