Reviews by the nonpartisan Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau, the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty and The Associated Press and partial recounts in Dane and Milwaukee counties found no widespread fraud in Wisconsin in the 2020 election.
They confirmed President Joe Biden’s victory in Wisconsin over former President Donald Trump.
A Wisconsin judge also found that a Republican-led, taxpayer-funded investigation found no widespread voter fraud.
Most Wisconsin residents are confident that the 2020 votes in Wisconsin were accurately counted, the Marquette Law School Poll has consistently found.
The fraud claim was made in a May 7, 2024, social media post by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.
Trump in November 2020 pardoned Flynn. Flynn had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in connection with the investigation of whether Trump’s campaign and Russia had coordinated to sway the 2016 election.
Flynn did not reply to Wisconsin Watch’s emails.
