It’s Monday in Milwaukee, and here are some things we think you should know about. If you would like your event to be considered for this column, please submit your news by clicking here at least two weeks in advance.

1. Movie Monday at Nō Studios: Monday, Nov. 21
Nō Studios will be screening “You Resemble Me,” the true story of Hasna Ait Boulahcen, a women who was falsely accused of being Europe’s first female suicide bomber. The screening starts at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21 at Nō Studios, located at 1037 W. McKinley Ave. The screening is free for Nō Studios members, $10 for non-members and includes complimentary beer, popcorn and soda.
The Kujichagulia Producers Cooperative, named after the principle of self-determination celebrated on the second day of Kwanzaa, is celebrating two years in business at the Sherman Phoenix with karaoke, cake and conversation. The party runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Sherman Phoenix, located at 3536 W. Fond Du Lac Ave.
3. Free zumba class: Wednesday, Nov. 23
A free, low-impact workout community zumba class, hosted by Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers, is held weekly on Wednesday mornings starting at 9 a.m. at 2906 W. Scott St.
Deneine Powell from the City of Milwaukee’s Environmental Collaboration Office and state Rep. Supreme Moore Omokunde will lead this discussion on the city’s climate and equity plan. You can read about the plan and reserve your spot here. This conversation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Bay View Community Center, located at 1320 E. Oklahoma Ave. There will also be a chance to participate in this discussion on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at City Hall, located at 200 E. Wells St., and at Walnut Way Innovations and Wellness Commons, located at 1609 W. North Ave.
5. Comedy75: Milwaukee comedians live taping: Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25
For the third year, Comedy75 is back for Thanksgiving and Black Friday with a showcase of Milwaukee’s comedic talent. The shows run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on both Thursday Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 at the Wisconsin African-American Women’s Center, located at 3020 W. Vliet St. Tickets are $10 and $15.
