It’s Monday in Milwaukee, and here are some things we think you should know about. If you would like your event to be considered for this column, please submit your news by clicking here at least two weeks in advance.

Health Connections Inc. has organized several events as part of “Wakanda Wellness Week.” These events include a conversation about the movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” karaoke, a conversation on Black family wellness and more. Events began on Saturday and will continue through Saturday, Nov. 19 at locations throughout the city. See a full list of events here.

2. Discussion on image in the workplace: Tuesday, Nov. 15

This discussion on image in the workplace will expand on topics explored in the TV series “The Hair Tales.” The discussion will take place in person and virtually, running from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Tru Image Design Studio, located at 3025 N. 35th St. Click here to reserve a spot.

3. Learn how state school report cards work: Thursday, Nov. 17

Learn more about how the state evaluates schools at this event organized by City Forward Collective. The event takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Tannery Building, 700 W. Virginia St., Suite 610. You must register by Tuesday and can do so by clicking here.

4. Job fair at The Guest House of Milwaukee: Thursday, Nov. 17

The Guest House of Milwaukee is hosting a job fair for those interested in joining its team. The job fair takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 1216 N. 13th St.

Organized by Radio Milwaukee and MKE Black, this event includes a presentation from Baird with tips for small businesses on items such as employee retirement plans and securing capital, followed by a panel discussion with local business leaders. The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Radio Milwaukee, located at 220 E. Pittsburgh Ave.
